The floor map  uses the magnetic flux leakage technique to detect surface and bottom side corrosion on above ground storage tank floors to provide a reliable indication of the floor condition within an economical time frame. The test can be carried out through surface coatings like paint or epoxy etc. The VS2  contains significant improvements in terms of defect positioning, electronic data processing and software manipulation. Additional data from visual, ultrasonic vacuum box and magnetic particle testing can be added to the report generating in full fingerprint of the tank.
